Kinja'd!!!

Who wants a rare Renault Alpine that appears to have had a little issue with fire under the hood? I love these cars and would love to have one, but don't need another project and don't have the thousands of dollars and man hours needed to make this car right, but I kind of wish I did. Yes, you can get parts for it.

Hahahaha, how is this one of 663 produced? Because it's a 1984 one and Renault only built 663 that year! Too bad they built it from 77 to 84: over 9000 A310 V6s have been produced.

And it certainly is CP. I can get you a proper one for around 15K euros. Really, really proper. And you'd better be fast because they'll increase in value the next couple of years. Quick.

It is a tad rough. But, they're not all that easy to find. I'm on the fence and I still like my Le Car better.

for what that car needs...this would be much better http://www.autoscout24.com/Details.aspx?i… even with the shipping and taxes

The 663 number cracked me up, too. Are they really that cheap? This is a $5,000 car then. Yeah, now is the time to buy one. 15K Euros is a bargain.

Coming from you, it's not actually a sarcastic and egregious insult. Most other people, I *think* it would be.

and also, here is apples to apples with another Pack GT car. Just too junky for anywhere north of 6-7 grand http://www.autoscout24.com/Details.aspx?i…

Yeah, I didn't realize they were still that reasonable. Heck of a deal. It does help that this one already has a California title, though, for those of us in the Golden State of auto regulations.

There are cars out there that due to a fluke of production are rare and desirable for low production in a given model year*. This is not one of them.

*Example case, 1963 Ford Falcon Sprint convertible: some few hundred made, much more rare than the same year's hardtop, the first year of the V8, and one year prior a model change. Other examples would be many different '60s Plymouths and Dodges.

yeah they said it was rebuilt, but it probably burned after that. Maybe due to the rebuild.

Still are, though they've increased a bit already. Check this one . Or here . In France they've increased somewhat already.

I wasn't joking about that 663: That's the exact amount produced in 1984! And this one has the 'beloved' GT-pack with those fender flares. It's not that this is good for it's value either IMO.

€9000 for your choice of two.

Or this one. Let's go to Italy to buy a French vehicle.

The only thing the one I posted has in its favor is the California title. Anything post 1968 can be hard to register here. Post 1975 - forget it since it'll have to meet our emissions standards.

Then just get a 1600 4-banger . They look even more bad-ass with those six (6!) headlights and are more rare than a V6. They're pre-'76, not pre-'68 though. That would take you into the way-more expensive A110 territory. Although a 1600VF could prove to be somewhat more expensive than a V6.

You're right, I do like those even more. That front end is killer. One day.

That doesn't look 1:1 to me. How big is it? It's really nice.

It is... 1:1! And it's epic, one of the nicest examples I've ever seen. Owned by a Japanese Renault-addict. If you want to see nicely shot Renaults, Alpines and JDM as well (lately) check his blog .
